Jaisalmer: Narpat Jangid from Barmer district topped the RBSE Class 12 Arts stream results with 99.6% marks, one of three students to secure the top position. After the results were announced Tuesday, school education minister Madan Dilawar called Narpat on phone to congratulate him. Narpat said his parents work in the fields and they inspired him to work hard. He attributed his achievement to hard work, discipline and dedication. He said he never used a mobile phone, which helped him maintain focus on studies. Narpat based his preparation on marks scored in tests conducted at school, which helped him secure full marks in some subjects in the board exam. His marks include 99 in Hindi, 100 in English, 99 in Geography, and 100 in both Political Science and History. He scored a total of 498 out of 500 marks. He said his aim is to become a Rajasthan Judicial Service officer.TNN
