Bhilwara: The Ajmer unit of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested three youths from Bhilwara late Saturday for alleged involvement in a fake currency scam.The youths, picked up near Ahinsa Circle following a sting operation, are accused of scamming several people in and around Ajmer by using chemicals to create counterfeit Rs 500 notes and passing them off as real. Three bundles of plain paper cut to the size of Rs 500 notes were seized from the trio. A case has been registered at the city’s Subhash Nagar police station, where the three arrested individuals, identified as Aslam, Insaf, and Riyaz, are being interrogated.
