Jaipur: On the occasion of birth anniversary of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Thursday announced that an ‘Atal Kavya Smarak’ memorial will be constructed at City Park in Mansarovar, Jaipur, where e-library and library facilities will be made available. Along with this, he also announced the creation of ‘Atal Loktantra Upvan’ garden in Jaipur. He announced a budget allocation of Rs 30 crore for them.Sharma paid floral tributes to Vajpayee at the secretariat on his birth anniversary, also observed as ‘Good Governance Day’, and administered an oath of good governance to officers and employees.Addressing the state-level ceremony organised on Good Governance Day, the CM said HCM RIPA had been designated as the nodal department for activities under Mission Karmayogi. “More than 7 lakh karmayogis enrolled and completed more than 26 lakh training courses in Rajasthan,” he said.Later, speaking at the state-level Rozgar Mela (employment fair) held at Commerce College here, Sharma said his govt will soon bring a youth policy and such employment fairs will continue to be held in every district.More than 100 employers from over 20 sectors participated in the employment fair. The CM handed over appointment letters to several youths who had secured employment in private companies.Sharma also addressed the closing ceremony of the MP Sports Festival at Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium, where he said no talented player in the state will lag due to lack of resources. He said on the lines of Khelo India Youth Games, Khelo Rajasthan Youth Games will also be organised at block, district, and state levels, including for traditional sports.
