Jaipur: Abhyudaya Rawat, Kunal Singh, Hridayan, Manish Kumawat, Shiksha, Satish and Chaudhary emerged winners in their respective categories at the Fifth Kisan Golf Cup which concluded at the Rambagh Golf Club here on Sunday.Kisan Golf Club convener Jaswant Meel said that around 250 men, women and budding junior golfers participated with great enthusiasm in various categories 0 to 9, 10 to 18 and 19 to 24 in the two-day fifth Kisan Golf Cup played on stable ford format.In the best pro category of the competition, Abhiyudaya Rawat emerged victorious with a card of 68 points, while Kunal Singh (Junior) won the best gross title with 70 points.In the 0 to 9 handicap category, Hridayan Sarawagi triumphed with 39 points, while Rajkumar Nain was runner-up with 36. In the 10 to 18 handicap category, Manish Kumawat (Junior) reigned supreme with 35 points, while Om Prakash Saraswat was runner-up with 34 points.In the 19 to 24 handicap category, Alok Sharma Junior won with 39 points and Gaurav Mathur became the runner-up with 39 points. Also, Shiksha Jain won the Best Lady Golfer category with 31 points and Shreeja Jain became the runner-up with 30 points.In the veteran category of 65 to 70 years, Satish Rajoria became the winner by scoring 36 points and Dr BM Raturi became the runner-up by scoring 35 points.In the veteran category above 71 years of age, Dr Raghavendra Chaudhary claimed the title with 13 points and Kamal Bordhia became the runner-up with 13 points. Also, Atul Poddar won the title of straightest drive, Vrinda Saini won the title of near to pin, and Anas Shamsi won the title of longest drive. The special attraction of the tournament was the prize bicycle which was won by Dr Sameer Sharma by putting the ball in the basket placed at 170 yards on the 10th hole.Media in-charge Dr Devendra Kumar said that at the prize distribution ceremony, former sports minister, Padmashree and Arjuna Awardee Krishna Poonia, DEG Prahlad Krishnaiya, Rambagh Golf Club Captain Yogendra Singh Shekhawat, honorary secretary Samridh Sharma presented trophies to the winners and runners-up.Finally, coordinator Jaswant Meel thanked the contributors and especially Rajkumar, Dr RS Chaudhary, Dr Devendra Kumar, Jaimal Singh, Yogesh Bansal, Sanjeev, Dinwa Group for their support and success in the Kisan Cup.
