Jaisalmer: A newborn girl, found abandoned near Ramsarovar Lake in Ramdevra town, Jaisalmer district, was rescued by authorities Saturday. According to police, a woman heard a baby crying near an empty plot near Ramsarovar Lake. She informed nearby shopkeepers about the incident. Upon reaching the spot, the shopkeepers found a newborn baby girl. The Ramdevra police and a 108 ambulance were notified, and they transported the infant to Pokhran Hospital.
