Jaipur: The Jaipur district administration Tuesday announced that general residents can attend the rehearsals of the Army Day parade on Jan 9,11 and 13 and the final day parade on Jan 15 only after confirmation from the district authorities. To seek confirmation, residents need to log on to SSO portal or the Citizen App of the state govt.“Citizens interested in watching the Army Day Parade can log in using their SSO ID at Those who don’t have a SSO ID first need to create a ID. Residents can apply for two confirmations through one SSO ID. The registration facility is also available through e-Mitra centers,” said a district official.Officials said after logging in, applicants need to click the “Army Day Parade Registration” option available under the G2C category in the portal or in app and complete the registration by filling in just two columns.“After successful registration, the applicant will receive a confirmation message via SMS, which will also contain necessary instructions, route map, and parking map information. Applicants can also choose the day they wish to attend the parade,” an official said.This registration facility has opened since the evening of Jan 6 and will be open till Jan 14. “Registered citizens are required to reach the parade venue by 8:45 AM and will not be allowed to leave the venue before the parade concludes,” an official added.
