Jaipur: A Congress delegation, led by Opposition Leader Tikaram Jully, met Governor Haribhau Bagde here Thursday to address allegations of surveillance on legislators in the state assembly. The delegation submitted a memorandum urging the governor to uphold the dignity of the assembly and protect democratic values.Jully condemned the alleged use of hidden cameras to monitor opposition members, calling it a violation of privacy and legislative privileges. He claimed that concerns were raised during assembly proceedings on Sept 9 regarding cameras in the “No Side Block,” which reportedly continued recording post-session.Jully said the governor assured the delegation of obtaining all information about the cameras from the assembly secretariat.
