Ajmer: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Tuesday debarred 524 candidates from appearing in any selection exam of the RPSC, with 415 of them debarred for life. These candidates were caught faking degrees or documents and cheating in exams. “RPSC is taking strict action against those using unfair means to get govt jobs,” said Ramniwas Mehta, secretary of RPSC.While 415 candidates have been debarred for life, 109 have been debarred for 1 to 5 years. There are 128 candidates debarred from Jalore district, 81 from Banswara, and 40 from Dugarpur. A total of 157 candidates have been debarred for using fake degrees or documents, with 126 of them using fake Bachelor of Education degrees for filing applications. Similarly, 148 candidates used cheating or other methods to pass exams. Another 68 candidates used dummy candidates to clear exams, and 38 candidates used Bluetooth, mobile, or other electronic devices during exams.RPSC also debarred 62 candidates who tore the OMR answer sheet or tried to take the question paper out of the exam centre without permission or tampered with the OMR sheet. It debarred 51 candidates who provided wrong information to RPSC. Check on SSO IDs: RPSC officials said candidates applying from multiple SSO IDs or having different profiles on the same SSO ID will also be debarred from exams.
