Bhilwara: The police Tuesday arrested a man for allegedly harassing a girl student from a private college under Sadar police station in Bhilwara city and paraded him from the college to the main road before hundreds of students. Deputy superintendent of police Shyam Sundar Bishnoi said that a college student reported an unknown man harassing her outside the college. The police registered the report and formed a special team under the leadership of Sadar police station in-charge Kailash Kumar Bishnoi. After reviewing CCTV footage, the team arrested 20-year-old Mehroof, son of Abdul Mehboob Pathan, from Mandal police station area. The accused was paraded from the college to the main road, with hundreds of students present, he said. tnn
