Jaipur: The cybercrime wing of the state police arrested five men for allegedly renting out bank accounts to fraudsters, enabling transactions of over Rs 4 crore, in Alwar Tuesday. Police said they received a lot of complaints from victims of the cybercrime whose money was siphoned off, and tracked the mule accounts, allegedly rented or leased to criminal gangs.According to police, the accused opened or provided existing accounts to cybercrime groups in exchange for a commission. These accounts were then used to route fraudulent transactions which investigators estimate to have crossed Rs 4 crore.
