The intensified manhunt for the shooters now stretches across Punjab and Haryana. The photos, made public along with a reward of Rs 25,000 for each accused, are part of an ongoing effort to track down what police believe to be a gang of contract shooters involved in a wider network of organised crime.According to superintendent of police (SP) Gaurav Yadav, the three suspects—Rahul Kumar from Narnaul, Haryana; Rohit Sharma from Mahendragarh, Haryana; and Sukhwinder Singh alias Sukhi from Muktsar Sahib, Punjab—are on the run.
