Udaipur: Three persons were killed and 10 injured in the Bansi Maida Ghat section of the Lasadiya police station area Friday evening when a speeding truck lost control and collided with five vehicles. At approximately 5pm, the truck carrying iron lost its balance and continued striking the vehicles ahead. Three persons in separate vehicles died on the spot, while 10 injured were admitted to the govt hospital in Lasadiya. Lasadiya police and administrative officials arrived promptly. Harshraj Singh, SHO, Lasadiya stated that about 10 people were injured. The deceased have not been identified yet. The bodies have been placed in the mortuary, and police are investigating the matter. tnn
