Ajmer: The central jail administration Thursday removed jail guard Kartar Choudhary and sent him to headquarters after finding 294 suspicious pills in two parcels while searching his residential quarters. The administration also registered an FIR against him at Civil Lines police station and sent the report to headquarters in Jaipur.Sources said the action comes after the administration got a tip-off. The pills found in parcels are suspected to be drugs and samples have been sent to a forensic lab. Jail superintendent R Anteshwar said, “The guard was unable to give a satisfactory reply about those pills.”Sources said the administration suspects that Choudhary supplied these pills inside the jail. The jail administration sealed the parcels and handed them to police for further investigation.
