Kota: A 21-year-old man was arrested in Jhalawar for allegedly creating fake Instagram accounts in a minor girl’s name, morphing her photographs into objectionable content and harassing her family, police said Thursday.Jhalawar SP Amit Kumar said the girl’s mother lodged a complaint at Jhalawar Cyber Police Station on Oct 23, alleging that an unidentified person had created fake profiles using her daughter’s name and posted morphed pictures. The accused also allegedly sent follow requests to relatives and acquaintances, using abusive language to harass the family.Police registered a case and traced the accused through digital footprints and technical evidence.The accused, Jai Suman alias Jacky, a Jhalawar resident currently living in Jhalrapatan, was arrested and produced before a court Thursday. The court remanded him to judicial custody.
