Jaipur: Two bike-borne masked miscreants snatched a bag containing Rs 1.26 lakh from a private bank’s loan collection agent on Saturday afternoon in the Daulatpura area. Though local police set up barricades immediately after the incident, the culprits managed to escape.According to police, the victim, identified as Nathu Ram (26), belongs to Parbatsar in Kuchaman Didwana district and currently resides in Rajawas Ganesh Vihar. He works as a loan recovery agent for a private firm.Around 2 PM on Saturday, Ram was heading towards Badanpura on his motorcycle after collecting Rs 1.26 lakh from Khorashyamdas. While he was en route to another collection centre meeting, the two unidentified men intercepted him from behind.The snatchers grabbed the cash-filled bag kept on the motorcycle’s fuel tank and sped away. Though he raised an alarm and attempted to chase them, the robbers sped off. Upon being alerted, Daulatpura police reached the spot and launched a search operation. Cops are currently scanning CCTV footage from nearby routes to trace the suspects.
