Jaipur: AU Small Finance Bank has crossed the 1,000-branch mark in its Microfinance & Financial Inclusion Business (MFIB) network, expanding its reach across rural and semi-urban markets in the country.The bank said Tuesday that its 1,000-plus MFIB branches now serve more than 20 lakh customers and 58 lakh-plus rural savings account holders across over 59,000 villages in 17 states and one Union Territory.Uttam Tibrewal, deputy CEO, retail banking, said the milestone reflected the bank’s expanding presence and customer base in rural IndiaThe network spans markets in north, central, east and south India.The MFIB network provides services including savings accounts, insurance, Aadhaar-enabled banking, direct benefit transfers, digital payments, financial literacy and doorstep banking.As of June 30, 2026, AU SFB had a deposit base of Rs 1.58 lakh crore and a loan portfolio of Rs 1.44 lakh crore. Its overall network comprised 2,920 banking touchpoints across 21 states and four Union Territories.
