Jaipur: Rajasthan Police’s crime wing has blocked 15,326 mobile numbers, around 7,800 URLs and social media profiles, and more than 100 digital devices allegedly linked to the circulation of child sexual exploitation and abuse material (CSEAM).Police said sharing or circulating such material online is under surveillance and will invite legal action.ADG (Cyber Crime) VK Singh, addressing a news conference Monday, said the action followed technical analysis of digital trails and reports received through National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) tipline.“Nearly 25,000 inputs were analysed during the exercise, helping us identify accounts, mobile numbers, URLs and other digital footprints associated with the circulation of illegal material,” Singh said.The ADG said cases have been registered against repeat offenders in several districts, including Churu, Nagaur, Alwar, Khairthal-Tijara, Sikar, Hanumangarh and Chittorgarh.Singh warned that offenders cannot assume they are safe behind fake names or anonymous accounts. Police are using technical analysis and digital trails to identify those involved, he said.According to Singh, offenders have increasingly used platforms such as Telegram and Discord to create secret or paid groups and channels. “Members often joined these groups using fake or anonymous identities and shared objectionable material among themselves,” he said.

In several cases, the material was sent through private messages. “Offenders also uploaded files to Google Drive and other cloud storage platforms and circulated links instead of directly sharing the files,” Singh said.Police found that some offenders used coded words and hashtags on mainstream social media platforms to evade detection. Singh said conversations were sometimes initiated on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook before being shifted to other communication platforms.Rajasthan Police said they are coordinating with police agencies in other states to trace individuals involved. “We had also shared information on suspects operating outside Rajasthan with the concerned state police for further legal action,” Singh added.
