Jaipur: Shri Rajput Karni Sena national president Mahipal Singh Makrana Thursday gave the makers of Mirzapur 24 hours to remove the song ‘Shoorveer’, objecting to its use in a scene featuring violence and abusive language.Makrana said Maharana Pratap was a revered symbol of valour and questioned the use of a song dedicated to him in such a scene.He also claimed the song’s singer, Rapperiya Baalam, had not permitted its use in the series. Makrana warned that if the song was not removed, the community would discuss the issue and decide its next course of action.“Karni Sena does not merely issue warnings, it takes action,” he said, citing its protests over Padmaavat and Jodhaa Akbar. He warned of protests if the demand was not met.
