Sikar: A three-day dharna over the death of Anjali Saini during childbirth ended Saturday outside Matru Shishu Hospital in Neemkathana, Sikar district, after the administration and the Sangharsh Samiti reached an agreement in the presence of Sikar MP Amararam.The agreement included action as per rules if a doctor or other personnel were found guilty in the inquiry, sending a compensation proposal to the state govt to secure financial assistance for the affected family, and providing contractual employment to one member of the family. It was also agreed that the doctor concerned would not be kept in Neemkathana until the inquiry was completed. After the administration accepted these demands, those present at the protest site ended the agitation. Makpa Neemkathana tehsil secretary Gopal Saini, Makpa state secretary Kishan Parik, Makpa district secretary Omprakash Yadav, along with the deceased’s family members and villagers, were present.
