Jaipur: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) Tuesday released the notification for conducting Common Eligibility Test (CET), for which applications will be open from June 24 till July 23.Officials said that the CET score obtained by candidates in this exam will be valid for three years from the date of the result. The CET score is valid for 14 recruitment drives for different departments.The application process will be online after a one-time registration, and the examination will be conducted from Oct 23-25 this year.The notification adds that all questions in the exam will be multiple-choice and will carry equal marks, and there will be negative marking of one-third of the total marks for each wrong answer.The Board has clarified that there will be no restriction on the number of attempts to appear for the CET, and candidates will have the opportunity to improve their scores.“For posts covered under the Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level), the best available score obtained by a candidate prior to the upcoming examination will be considered valid, provided the score’s validity has not expired. The validity period of the previous CET (Senior Secondary Level) – 2024 score — which was one year from the result date — expired on Feb 16, 2026. Therefore, candidates from the previous Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level) – 2024 must apply again,” the notification mentioned.
