Jaipur: A woman and her son were killed after a trailer allegedly hit their motorcycle from behind near Neendar Mod in the Harmada area Tuesday morning, police said.The deceased were identified as Sangeeta, 40, and her son Krish, 18, residents of Mansa Mata Nagar in Harmada. Krish was riding the motorcycle and Sangeeta was riding pillion, police said.Police said the cement-laden trailer was travelling from Chomu towards Jaipur around 9 am when it collided with the motorcycle.The impact threw the two riders onto the road, causing fatal injuries. Both died on the spot, police said.The trailer driver allegedly abandoned the vehicle and fled after the collision.Police said the bodies were shifted to Kanwatia Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.Police seized the trailer, and efforts are underway to trace the driver.
