11 State schools awarded national-level certificate of merit for clean and green campuses

Jaipur: The state education department Monday announced that 11 schools from Rajasthan have been awarded the National-Level Certificate of Merit under the Swachh Evam Harit Vidyalaya Rating (SHVR) 2025-26, an initiative of the Union Ministry of Education.Officials said each recognised school will receive a Certificate of Merit along with additional financial support of ₹21 lakh to help sustain and expand SHVR-related activities.The schools selected for the recognition are Government Upper Primary School, Kharia Gogliya (Barmer); Government Upper Primary School, Ujeen Singh Ka Nada Beri (Sikar); Government Primary School, Rodewala (Dungarpur); Government Upper Primary School, Abhaypura (Churu); PM SHRI Government Primary School, Parliya Ki Dhani (Kota); Swami Vivekanand Government Model School, Deoli (Tonk); Government Higher Secondary School, Babara (Beawar); PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station Uttarlai (Barmer); Sophia Girls Senior Secondary School, Vallabh Nagar (Kota); Darbar Government Senior Secondary School (English Medium), Sambhar Lake (Jaipur); and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Talwara (Banswara).School education secretary Rajesh Yadav said Rajasthan secured the third position nationally in the Swachh Evam Harit Vidyalaya Rating 2025. “This recognition reflects the sustained commitment of these schools towards cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene and environmental sustainability, as well as the collective efforts of students, teachers and school leadership,” he said.The schools were recognised for their exemplary performance in areas such as sanitation, waste management, water conservation, energy efficiency and campus greening.
