Jaipur: The RCA ad hoc committee constituted the women selection committee to select the probables for the Rajasthan team participating in various age group competitions of the upcoming domestic cricket season of BCCI.According to RCA ad hoc panel convener Dr Mohit Jaswant Yadav, for the pre-preparations of BCCI’s women’s competitions of different age groups, RCA will conduct state-level senior, U-23, U-19 and U-15 women’s tournaments and keeping in view the talent and performance of the players in the competitions. RCA women selection committee will select the probables for the Rajasthan team.Bharti Verma, who has represented the India A team, has been appointed chairperson of the RCA women’s selection committee.Poonam Yadav, Komal Choudhary, Sampa Mukherjee and Sophie Siddu are the other members of the selection panel.The RCA ad hoc committee had invited online applications from former players of the state for the formation of Rajasthan Women Selection Committee, out of which applicants fulfilling all the criteria for becoming a member of the selection committee were invited by the RCA for interview in a completely transparent manner. After completion of all the procedures, the RCA Adhoc Committee unanimously constituted the Rajasthan Women Selection Committee for the BCCI domestic cricket season 2026-27.
