Jaipur: In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent economic suggestions aimed at maintaining stability in the country’s economy amid the ongoing global crisis, Federation of Rajasthan Trade and Industry (FORTI) held a review meeting. During the meeting, FORTI president Suresh Agarwal said the members of the industry body would intensify efforts to encourage indigenous production and promote the use of locally manufactured goods.The organisation also decided its members, including industrialists and traders, would encourage vehicle sharing among employees at factories and business establishments to reduce fuel consumption. The organisation also appealed to its members to organise family wedding ceremonies and corporate meetings only at tourist destinations within India, in an effort to support domestic tourism and the national economy.The meeting was attended by FORTI’s women’s wing president Neelam Mittal, youth wing chief secretary Prashant Sharma, along with other members of the organisation.
