Jaipur: Experienced Rajasthan shuttlers Vikkas Sharma and Ashu Jain bagged bronze medal at the Indian Masters (Veterans) National Badminton Championships 2025-26 held recently at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium in Goa.Competing in the men’s doubles 50 plus category, Vikkas and Ashu defeated Manish Aggarwal and Inderdeep Singh 21-14, 21-18 in the quarterfinals. Earlier, the Rajasthan pair got the better of K Ventaka Satyanarayana and P Pydi Raju 21-18, 21-13.However, they lost the semis and had to settle for a bronze medal. It was the only medal for Rajasthan at the Goa Nationals.Earlier also Vikkas Sharma and Ashu Jain have done well at the state and national level badminton tournaments in the last couple of years.
