Jaipur: Residents of Sushilpura staged a protest Tuesday over contaminated drinking water and raised the issue in front of their local MLA Gopal Sharma. For the last five days, people in the area have been receiving polluted water supply.The problem extends beyond drinking water. For nearly a month, foul-smelling wastewater has been flowing on the streets. The stench, unhygienic surroundings and fear of disease have left residents frustrated. When MLA Sharma reached the area, residents surrounded him and tried to convey the gravity of their situation.
