Recently, a sunny afternoon on the lush grounds of the Rajasthan Polo Club turned far more exciting than a routine match, as a group of young girls took to the field, drawing attention and adding a refreshing charm to the game for polo enthusiasts.

Organised under the aegis of the Jaipur Polo Season 2026, the thrilling Ladies Polo Cup 2026 was contested between Team Pink and Team Green. Team Green emerged victorious, defeating Team Pink 5–3 to claim the title. Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari attended as the chief guest and presented the trophy to the winning side. Erstwhile Jaipur royal Gauravi Kumari was also present on the occasion.

Team Green was led by Lance Watson, while Team Pink was captained by Jaipur royal Sawai Padmanabh Singh. For the winning side, Kumari Vijayashree Shaktawat scored three goals and Dr Shivangi Jai Singh added two, with Mili Sheth also playing for the team. From Team Pink, Sanjula Mann netted all three goals, while Urvi Singh and Kumari Lavanya Shekhawat were the other players on the field. The match drew the presence of several women’s organisations from Jaipur, NGOs, polo enthusiasts, and prominent members of the city’s social circle.
