Ajmer: A dispute between two brothers turned tragic when the third brother who tried to intervene was pushed so hard that he hit his head against a gate and died on the spot Monday. The incident occurred in Vikas Nagar, Adarsh Nagar locality. Police sent the body for post-mortem and registered a case of murder case.According to Chotu Lal, SHO of Adarsh Nagar, Bhagwan Singh Rawat had an ongoing property dispute with his youngest brother, Pushpendra Singh. On Monday, a fight erupted when Bhagwan Singh opened the gate on Pushpendra and Balveer Singh’s property. According to Pushpendra’s report to the police, Balveer tried to stop the fight, but Bhagwan Singh pushed him hard, causing Balveer’s head to hit the gate. Balveer (43) died on the spot. Pushpendra has registered a murder case against his eldest brother, Bhagwan Singh, wife Lali Devi, and son Vikas. Police said that their father died in 2024 and, according to their father’s will, the property was distributed equally among four brothers: Bhagwan Singh, Balveer Singh, Kamal Singh, and Pushpendra Singh. However, as alleged in the report, Bhagwan was not happy with the distribution, and fought with the other brothers, demanding more land. All four brothers lived separately on the same premises. Balveer Singh, who was killed, was an advocate, and when the news reached the District Bar Association, advocates gathered at JLN Hospital and demanded justice for him. The SHO said that have they registered a case and are investigating. CCTV camera footage from the spot has been collected.
