Ajmer: Out of 4,221 candidates who applied for deputy commandant (Home Guard Department) selection exam, only 255 appeared Sunday. The exam was conducted in Ajmer by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). Out of the 4,221 candidates who applied, 3,966 remained absent, and the attendance was only 6.04%. The RPSC had forewarned ineligible candidates not to apply. “RPSC has to make arrangements for conducting the examination, and resources and expenditure are required. On Sunday, the RPSC made arrangements for 4,221 candidates and invigilators and examination centres were arranged, but only 255 candidates appeared,” said an official source.The exam was the first conducted by RPSC this year.
