Jhunjhunu: Police in Ratangarh arrested four men for allegedly barging into an office, assaulting occupants, and committing robbery and kidnapping at gunpoint late on April 5 in Churu district.Ratangarh police station assistant sub-inspector Rajendra Singh said two accused — Vinay and Rajneesh — were arrested earlier and produced before a court Thursday, which remanded them to judicial custody. Later that night, police also arrested Manoj alias Romeo (22), a resident of Kadiya village, and Dinesh alias Mental (26), a resident of Kalyanpura in Sikar. All four are being interrogated.According to the complaint, Aman and Pankaj, residents of ward number 44 in Ratangarh said that they manage DSS Enterprises, an office near Ramchandra Park owned by Dinesh Manglahara. On the night of April 5, they, along with Yogesh, Kailash and Dinesh from Ratangarh, and Madan and Manish from Sardarshahar, were present in the office when Vinay Sharma and 7–8 others arrived in a car and on a motorcycle.The accused allegedly forced their way in, assaulted those present at gunpoint, vandalised the office, and looted mobile phones, cash, and two laptops. They also fled with a car parked outside and allegedly abducted Aman and Pankaj, later abandoning them on Ghumanda Road.Police said the accused also issued death threats before fleeing. Further investigation is underway.
