Udaipur: Three children, including two sisters, drowned Sunday evening while bathing in a rain-filled well in Dhola Kakar village in Jhallaara police station area of Salumbar district. They were identified as sisters Khushbu (10) and Maya (14), and Lokesh (13), all of whom lived in the same neighbourhood.When their families began searching for them, they discovered the children’s bodies floating in the water. According to police, the well lacked a parapet and was filled to the brim due to recent rains.Police, with assistance from local residents, recovered the bodies and took them to Salumbar govt hospital mortuary for postmortem. On Monday morning, the bodies were handed over to family members. Both sisters studied at the local govt school, Maya in Class 7 and Khushbu in Class 5.
