10 IPS officers transferred in second rejig over a month

Jaipur: In the second reshuffle of IPS officers in just over a month, the state govt Sunday transferred 10 officers, including replacing the DCP (East) of Jaipur police.DCP Jaipur (East) Sanjeev Nain was shifted out and replaced by Hemant Kalal, who was serving as DCP (East) in Jodhpur. The order, however, did not mention Nain’s new posting. A 2013 batch officer who was promoted from the state police service to IPS, Nain was appointed as DCP (East) during the reshuffle order issued on July 19, replacing Tejaswani Gautam.The fresh list also moved several assistant superintendents of police. ASP Kambale Sharan Gopinath was shifted from Sanchore in Jalore to Alwar City in Alwar district. ASP Roshan Meena, posted in Jodhpur, was appointed ACP (West) in Jodhpur. ASP Pali Usha Yadav was sent to Chomu in Jaipur as ACP.Six IPS probationers — Ajay Singh Rathore, Ashima Vaswani, Patil Abhijeet, Jatin Jain, Madhav Upadhya, and Prateek Singh — were also given field postings as ASPs across districts.
